VIEWING NOTES
This website is designed to be viewed on a monitor with a resolution of at least 1024 x 768 pixels. Horizontal scrolling will become necessary at lower resolutions. To ensure you see a good rendition of my images, calibrate the brightness and gamma of your monitor so that all segments of the greyscale below are well defined from pure black to pure white with no colour tint in any segment. Viewing my website on other (uncalibrated) monitors I have noticed distinctly higher contrast and saturation - not helped by the browser's tendency to also exaggerate this effect, so if you cannot discern any difference between adjacent segments, particularly the two darkest and/or lightest, then you are not viewing any website as it was designed to be seen.

No matter how well displayed, however, screen images cannot be directly compared to the printed image due to such factors as the difference between transmitted (screen) vs reflected (print) light, low internet resolution and ambient room lighting. If your computer and monitor are relatively new, you should at least be viewing an adequate rendition of my images (I hope).
